2024 Maserati Grecale: A Symphony of Luxury and Power Set to Grace Indian Roads

Maserati is the epitome of Italian luxury and performance and is preparing to captivate Indian enthusiasts with the launch of the Grecale SUV in early 2024. With bookings set to open by the end of 2023, the Grecale, unveiled in March 2022, emerges as a compelling addition to Maserati’s global lineup, positioned just below the illustrious Levante. The SUV, offered in three trims overseas – GT, Modena, and Trofeo – is not just a feast for the eyes but a powerhouse on wheels. Adding to the excitement, a fully electric variant, the Grecale Folgore, is poised to electrify Indian roads by the end of 2024.

True to Maserati’s heritage, the Grecale exudes design excellence. Signature elements like the distinctive grille and the iconic trident branding on the C-pillar echo the brand’s identity. Despite its smaller size, the SUV maintains a silhouette reminiscent of its larger sibling, the Levante. The rear, adorned with boomerang-shaped taillamps, adds a touch of dynamism to the design. Step inside, and the 2024 Maserati Grecale welcomes you with a 12.3-inch central infotainment screen and an 8.8-inch touchpad for climate control. The interior is further adorned with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a digital clock nestled between central AC vents, and a range of customizable colour schemes and materials, epitomizing the fusion of luxury and technology.

The global lineup features a 2.0-liter inline-four engine for the GT and Modena trims, delivering 297 bhp in the GT and 327 bhp in the Modena, with an identical peak torque of 450 Nm across both trims. For the performance-oriented Trofeo, a robust 3.0-liter V6 engine roars to life, generating an impressive 515 bhp and 630 Nm of peak torque. The Trofeo’s top speed of 285 kmph attests to Maserati’s commitment to exhilarating performance.

As Maserati embraces the future, the all-electric Grecale Folgore takes centre stage. With a dual-motor setup, it boasts a remarkable 545 bhp and 850 Nm of torque. The 2024 Maserati Grecale Folgore accelerates to a top speed of 220 kmph, driven by a powerful 105 kWh battery. Offering a WLTP range figure of over 500 km on a single charge, the Folgore redefines the possibilities of electric SUVs. The convenience of a DC rapid charging setup ensures a swift 20 to 80 percent charge in under 30 minutes, making the Grecale Folgore a pioneer in an electric performance.
