2025 Renault Duster 5 Key Things To Know

The upcoming 2025 Renault Duster will make its debut soon, here are the 5 key features you should know

Dacia, the sister brand of Renault is set to unveil the all-new Duster on November 29th 2023 in Portugal. While the 5-seater version is anticipated to launch in India by 2025, a 7-seater variant will also be introduced at a later date. This fresh model exhibits a more rugged and boxy design, which shows off its off-road capabilities. It is built on the CMF-B modular platform shared by Renault and Nissan.

Two distinct models will be available with one featuring a sleeker front fascia and some design variations. Inside, the new Duster is expected to receive updates to keep up with modern expectations. It will likely include a touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone compatibility, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and other amenities.

When it comes to engines, the new Duster is set to offer three options, all of which are petrol. Unfortunately, there won’t be a diesel option. The choices include an entry-level 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine producing 120 hp, a 1.2-litre petrol hybrid generating 140 hp, and a flex-fuel compliant 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine that produces a remarkable 170 hp, making it the most powerful Duster ever.

For those seeking a 3-row version, it’s worth noting that Dacia is planning to introduce the Bigster later next year.

2025 Renault Duster India Launch

The new Duster will finally make its way to India in 2025. The anticipation is high due to its earlier success in the Indian market, especially for its excellent suspension setup, often referred to as the “Magic Carpet” for its ability to handle rough roads while maintaining composure at high speeds. Once launched, it will compete against rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
