1. Tata Curvv EV
The Tata Curvv will be available in both electric and internal combustion engine (ICE) versions. The electric variant will debut first and feature a large battery pack and will provide a driving range of over 500 km. It will retain the styling language from the concept, albeit in a slightly toned-down form. The ICE Curvv will incorporate a new direct injection (DI) petrol engine.
2. Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor
The Urban Cruiser Taisor is expected to hit the market in early 2024. It’s essentially a badge-engineered version of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx a five-seater compact SUV coupe. It is positioned above the Glanza premium hatchback. The Taisor will come with a 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.0L turbo petrol engine with both manual and automatic transmission options.
3. Kia Sonet Facelift
Kia plans to introduce a heavily revised Sonet early in 2024 with substantial updates inside and out. The facelift aims to bring a refreshed appeal with significant changes to the exterior and interior. While the interior will gain new features and technologies the existing powertrain lineup will be retained.
4. Tata Punch EV
Tata’s electrified Punch is set to launch in the coming months and will be the first Tata EV to have a charging port above the front fender. It will undergo design changes to differentiate itself from its ICE counterpart and is expected to offer two battery packs with a claimed range of over 350 km. The interior will share many features with the latest Nexon EV.
5. Hyundai Creta Facelift
The facelifted Hyundai Creta is scheduled to arrive early next year, featuring a redesigned exterior and interior. The current second-generation Creta has been on sale since early 2020 without significant updates. The facelift aims to infuse a refreshed look with Hyundai’s latest design philosophy. Interior updates include Level 2 ADAS features, and a new 1.5L turbo petrol engine will be added to the lineup.
