Hero MotoCorp Unveils Six New Products at EICMA 2023, Including Electric Scooters, Street Fighter Concept and Dirt Bike

Hero MotoCorp is the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer and has taken the wraps off a total of six new products at the ongoing EICMA 2023 show in Milan, Italy. The company has unveiled three new scooters, two electric concepts, and one dirt bike concept. In this article, we’ll talk about Hero’s upcoming electric and petrol-powered two-wheelers launching soon in India.

1. Hero Vida V1 Coupe

The Hero Vida V1 Coupe is a derivative of the Vida V1 Pro and it expands the range of the Vida V1 electric scooter by offering more practicality. The Coupe features a transformable seat that can accommodate a pillion rider making it more versatile than the standard Vida V1.

2. Hero Xoom 125R

The Hero Xoom 125R is a sportier version of the Xoom 110. It features muscular body panels, all-LED lighting, sequential turn signals, an all-digital cluster with Bluetooth and navigation, and 14-inch alloy wheels. The Xoom 125R is expected to compete with the Suzuki Avenis 125 and TVS Ntorq 125.

3. Hero Xoom 160

The Hero Xoom 160 is a maxi scooter with a rugged adventure-style design. It is powered by a new 156 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine and offers a variety of modern features. The Xoom 160 packs dual LED headlamps, a tall windscreen, a fully digital cluster, 14-inch alloy wheels with block pattern tyres, telescopic front forks, dual rear shock absorbers, and more.

4. Hero 2.5R Xtunt Concept

The Hero 2.5R Xtunt concept is a street/stunt bike concept that is based on the same platform as the recently launched Karizma XMR. It appears to use the same 210 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine producing around 25 bhp. The company has not announced any plans to launch the concept as a production model, but it could spawn a naked streetfighter next year to compete with bikes like the Bajaj Pulsar NS200, Suzuki Gixxer 250, KTM 250 Duke, etc.

5. Hero Lynx Dirt e-Bike and Concept Acro

Two electric concepts also stole the show at Hero’s EICMA booth. The Hero Lynx Dirt e-bike is a dirt bike concept that takes inspiration from the Lynx Cat, and it uses a 15 kW electric motor and a 3 kW battery pack. The bike can be ridden for around 60 minutes on a single charge and weighs just 82 kg. The Concept Acro is an electric bike specially designed for kids. It features a three-point adjustable frame to suit the kids of ages between 3 and 9.
