The upcoming Himalayan 450 made its debut at the 2023 EICMA show in Italy and is set to have its prices revealed in India on November 24. It will replace the Himalayan 411 and will offer a new 452 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC engine that produces 40.02 PS maximum power and 40 Nm peak torque. Key features include full LED lighting, TFT instrument console with navigation, dual-channel ABS, slip and assist clutch, 43 mm upside-down front forks, monoshock rear suspension, 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels, split seats, wide handlebar, and a 17-litre fuel tank.

The Aprilia RS 457 is already available for pre-bookings and is anticipated to be competitively priced at around Rs. 3.8 lakh (ex-showroom), being locally manufactured at the Baramati plant in Maharashtra. It houses a new 457 cc parallel-twin-cylinder engine generating approximately 47 PS. Manufactured in India and exported globally, the RS 457 adds to Aprilia’s performance-oriented lineup.

Bajaj Auto is set to introduce the most potent Pulsar yet in the second quarter of 2024. This naked streetfighter is based on the NS series and will feature a 373 cc liquid-cooled engine derived from the Dominar 400 and the previous 390 Duke. It will be positioned below the D400 and the Pulsar NS 400 and is expected to continue Bajaj’s tradition of performance-oriented motorcycles.

Yamaha is gearing up to launch the YZF-R3 and MT-03 in India by mid-next month. Initially imported via the CBU route, both motorcycles will share a 321 cc parallel-twin engine mated to a six-speed transmission. The YZF-R3 will compete with models like the KTM RC 390, the upcoming Aprilia RS 457, and BMW G310 RR, while the MT-03 will take on rivals like the KTM 390 Duke, TVS Apache RTR 310, Honda CB300 R, among others.
