The current generation of the Honda Amaze was introduced in 2018 with a mid-life facelift in 2021. It is due for a comprehensive update. The third-generation model of the compact sedan is scheduled for an international debut in 2024. The upcoming Amaze will be based on an extensively updated version of the existing PF2 platform and will retain the current 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine that produces 90 bhp and 110 Nm of peak torque.

The 2024 Honda Amaze will maintain its dimensions just below the 4-meter mark. It will align with Honda’s latest design language, akin to contemporary models such as the current City and the global-spec Accord. The interior is expected to feature a fresh layout and an updated feature list, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.

2. Honda New Compact SUV

As part of Honda Cars India’s commitment to launching five new SUVs in the Indian market by 2030, a new compact SUV is slated for release in 2024. Following the positive response to the recently launched Elevate mid-size SUV, Honda aims to tap into the growing demand for SUVs with a sub-4-meter compact SUV.

Media reports suggest the return of the WR-V in a completely revamped form. It was discontinued in April this year due to BS6.2 emission norms. The new model is expected to align with the Indonesian spec measuring around 4 meters in length. The design is anticipated to follow the styling cues of the Elevate, potentially incorporating ADAS technology. The compact SUV is likely to be powered by the brand’s 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine that delivers 90 bhp and 110 Nm of peak torque paired with both manual and automatic gearbox options.
