Expected to hit the roads in the next 2-3 years, these EV SUVs will utilize Mahindra’s born-electric INGLO skateboard architecture. The flexible variant, INGLO P1, will serve as the foundation for the Thar EV and Scorpio EV. Boasting a 60 kWh battery pack, these models aim for a commendable 450-500 Km on a single charge. The Scorpio EV draws inspiration from the Mahindra Global Pik Up concept, promising innovation and performance.
2. Tata Motors: Leading the Charge in Electric Transformation
Tata Motors is at the forefront of the electric revolution, showcasing the electrified version of Harrier at the 2023 Auto Expo. The Safari EV follows a similar design direction, while the Punch EV is set to debut by the end of 2023. With a claimed range of approximately 350 Km, the Punch EV is gearing up to make a mark. The Harrier and Safari, equipped with larger battery packs, target a range surpassing 500 Km on a single charge, featuring a dual motor all-wheel drive setup for enhanced performance.
